Los Angeles has been wonderful,My home away from home, So great to catch up with old friends and share bills with them, and play in there venues, Loving all the support and the documentary is just going great, folks are enthusiastic and the musicians, bar owners, bookers, fans, that we have interviewed have been giving great interviews. Lots of great things in action, that what i love about hollywood my friends are long time friends and for that i feel so greatful and honored!

today yesterday the day before and the day before,
The shows in ariaona where just awesome, meeting with old friends,played some songs with soda who is a friend and taught me how to tour with no money and being comfortable with who iam and what i do, a fellow comrad, being totally cared for after every show my fellow music makers, or i would like to say rocknrollers, We where in tuscan az, i played a fun show with a strained voice at the larget tiki bar i have ever been to and they had instaled a huge stone tiki head, the sad news is on our way to the san diago show we got into a minor fender bender, no one got hurt and we where safe, the gear was safe, what sucked was my back rear light was out of commision, in when we got to the venue, ted the owner of the club ( Shakedown), completely got the part that was crushed bend back, and we got a manufactered light from the dealership, the show was awesome, the crowd was receptive, then yesterday we played cheetas a gentlemans club, billy pitman my mentor and longest member of the izzy cox bands, sat in, when i play with him, its timeless and awesome.
Toda, What a day , wow, went and play topenga cannon, for the hippi hidden old rock n rollers, i had some dedicated fans in there 70's and 60's.
Then i played des's birthday party, she first saw me when she was underage sneaking into a show , had this very young punk band who in every start of there set shot we love izzy cox and gave me there door money last night at the strip club show, they opened up the night, young kids 24, i had a group of young kids totally into my music, the place was packed and people loved it,also the fact they could appear in a documentary, it was good to see zander and sean( pulled out his cock on stage( i missed it but its filmed, the sound was horrible and they lost it in a enetertainment way, they contributed great information and said some of the nicest things, about touring and music for the documentary. then lightning woodcock, i totally forgot i did a show with 4 years ago and was pissed i left hollywood, i always leave places when iam on the verge of being famous,its the way i was back then, anyway i saw old dear friends i would call them family and very young and very excited, Every one has been making me laugh the whole trip, i w,i dont want people to think i am the old way, (unstable mentally) it was a great night, my living there for a very long time paid off, also it was good to see road comrads, the people i know in hollywood have known me in the best of times and the worst of times, and iam so greatful for all the bands i have played with and have taken great care of me on the road.! :) xo

my new amp, three year search is over! :) xo
I finally found a amp that fits me and my sound finally the three year search is over yahoooo! jmf spectra 122 amp 60 watts 1970 vintage solid state!
Tues january 24, 2012 update on shows.
So today i have a full day ahead, gonna be answering some questions for both documentarys , gabes and soda's, then playing a couple songs for a video tempe based video podcast.

So last night, i just rested, it looks like i came down with a cold, which is normal for me when i start a tour, my tummy is killing me which is normal for me, my ptsd came out in my dreams last night i had dreams i was squating in a abandoned houses and there where bugs crawling all over my body, people turning into cockroach's, a man trying to kill me, then trying to marry me, i woke up all clammy and nervous.
I started my day talking with a old dear friend soda, we have been friends for ten years, he taught me how to tour with no money.
When i first moved to Los Angeles , in 2002 i had lost all my id from canada, when i went to the consulate , they didn't believe i was canadian and turned me away, it was surreal, i had played in front of 1000 people in montreal on Saint Jean Baptist day , a big holiday in montreal.
I took a greyhound bus to Los Angeles then almost two weeks later i was busking at the hollywood farmers market playing for tips, with Sara Kramer on trumpet, we had made 100 dollars.
I was staying on peoples couch's i had no money and could not work in the us, waiting for my dual citizen ship to be processed .
Not long after i met Billy Pitman and Soda, threw out these 10 years they have been in my life always helping me and steering me in the right direction.
The documentary is going great, and all the shows so far have been amazing.
I feel completely greatful to be surrounded by wonderful music makers who extend there homes and hearts to me.

the show at the yucca tap room was just so much fun, soda jumped on stage to sing saint james with me, dana the old school country dj spinning all the greats, hopeless jack a two piece band from portland rocked out, i went to shoot guns with friends, i shot a 45 , 9 mil, and a ak 47 , i had not shot a gun since i was a little girl, it was a liberation of sorts, it was such a powerful experience, and to start the day we where on hunt for a winter jacket which in point Az is not the right town to find a warm jacket, today i will be doing a podcast video interview with a local tempe video maker, its gonna be fun !

we arrived in tempe , 18 hrs in two days, the scenery was awesome, at one point the mountains looked like cutouts of a early western movie, we stopped by a lil shop and decided to get lil cactus's to give as gifts, not the best gift but i gift just the same, we also found out we are touring the pnw during the worst time of the year, hanging out with old friends tonight iam sharing the bill 8pm with Soda and Jeremy Marcanti from Hashknife Outfit, Playing Teakwoods tonight 2808 east indian school rd, phoenix az ! :) xo
